In “Create in Athens” our ultimate goal is to create wholesome, unique experiences and beautiful memories for every visitor, who comes to Athens. Our aim is to provide something even greater than an ordinary street tour. Through interactive activities, creative dialogue, and – most important of all – a friendly atmosphere, the participants will discover along with the aid of our tour guides the hidden gems of Athens’ street art movement.

The beauty of street art is that it offers the opportunity to the participant to see the city through the eyes of its citizens and understand why Athens has a special place to their hearts. You will get inside the mind of the artist, share their worries, thoughts, and hopes for the future, while at the same time you will learn more about this unique form of art, which is currently flourishing in our city.

Athens’ centre and near neighborhoods. You can choose four different routes (Plaka/Psyri, Metaxourgeio, Exarcheia, Gazi/Kerameikos).

We are all going to meet in one of our “meeting points”, from where the tour will start. Once the participants will be given their necessary equipment, the tour will begin. Along with the aid of an experienced guide, the participants will discover the beauty of the urban landscape of Athens, by exploring unique and majestic neighborhoods off the beaten track. They will get to know Greece’s street art movement, and learn to recognize the works of the country’s most famous artists. Once tired, they will have the chance to enjoy a cup of coffee, a refreshing juice, or even a cocktail (if it’s late in the evening) in one of Athens’ many bars, cafés, and restaurants, where we will all get to know each other better, and dive into very interesting conversations regarding the modern, “Athenian” way of living, and explore deeper the artistic side of the city.

When most visitors come to Athens, they tend to seek more about the city’s historic past, and discover the root of democracy. With this program you will get the chance to see Athens from a different perspective. Street art gives you the golden opportunity to blend with the locals, and explore the city through their own eyes. You will walk into unknown streets with breathtaking artworks, explore neighborhoods decorated with colorful tsunamis, while at the same time, learn more about the daily-life struggles of the people. Through art you will share their hopes, and dreams. You will visit local favorite cafes, bars, and restaurants, and discover Athens’ hidden gems.
